Kart GP - Outdoor Track!

The Kart Nite saw 29 starters take to the course for a mudbath battle in front of a few speccies who turned out on a fairly dry? but chilly night to cheer all of their favourites on.

A mini grand prix took place with all drivers taking part in 4 heats of 8 laps to decide the top 10 for THE FINAL ! . Two extra hazards were included for us all, ice patches!. we were warned, but in true fashion didnt enter the helmet !!! . Several quotes like mine handled as if it were a front wheel/engined left hook imp, that was a short quattro !, fu**in Trabant! and such and so had laughter all the way, which included a few minor/major shunts with helmets parting company from heads to fully grown men being winded when a flat in 6th gear hairpin got blocked by another er kart!

Several broken karts l8r the top 10 took to the grid with our 2 xr2 men on the front row! and off it went! NO BUMPING ROOLS in the final eventualy saw the xr2 kids disqualified (it seems they dont quite get no using front bumpers! written on the inside of their visors), and so only 8 bairns finished after a 10 minute delay and a rollin start ably carried out by the safety trainers(thats footwear) entered who ran ahead of the field for 20 yards b4 runnin out of puff (it was uphill tho).

A great time was had by all AND WE HAVE BEEN INVITED BACK !!! MAD FOOLS !!!!. SO SAVE UR XMAS CASH and see you there when uncle bill can fit it in his diary to appear !

PS one of our comittee was seen trying to find his car after his driving glasses ran out of tear off visors in the final! however he was overheard trying to purchase a four wheel kart from a fellow competitor in the car park!!! happens there mite be a red scooby goin very very cheap in kircaldy soon ??? LOL . Next event could be a 12 car so watch this page !!!
