Treasure Hunt Results
The event saw 10 cars start from Thornton and travel via Glenrothes, Markinch, Kennoway, Milton and Coaltown of Balgonie to return to the Royal Tavern in Thornton.
The crews travelling in the glorious sunday sunshine had to solve 45 clues and collect 5 treasures en route. The teams between them did get all 45 answers and treasures but alas no one team got them all. 2 marks were on hand for each, giving a total out of 100.
Results were posted after the barbeque and all teams got prizes! Albeit some had been reported off route on top of Falkland Hill!
Results were as follows.
10th Hod it and dod it- Stuart Millar + co 73 points,
9th The Cowans- Alan + crew 76 points ,
8th The Roysters- Roy and team 80 points,
7th The Bio-meds - Scott Baillie + crew 83 points,
6th The Twinks - Keiron Baillie + family 84 points,
5th Domestic Bliss? = Ian Cowie and wife 86 points,
4th Sofa King Easy - Stuart Bailiie+family 90 points,
3rd Clueless - John Balfour + family 91points,
2nd The Mighty Hunters - Lock Horsburgh + family 93 points,
1st Abingdon - Jim Wilson + crew 97 points.
Thanks were announced to the local police , Ralph Barclay and his team at the Royal Tavern for playing hosts and arranging the barbeque, the event sponsors D+A Motor Factors (Glenrothes), and Angela (Ian Parks better half) who typed up the clues etc.
A big thanks to all involved in any way and apologies to any i have missed.
