Karting in Kirkcaldy Friday 23rd March
We have booked a race session at Kartstart in Kirkcaldy this Friday. Kartstart is indoors, about 400 metre track which we think is the longest indoor track in the country. Karts, suits, gloves and helmets are supplied, but you can bring your own helmet etc if you like. The format is four heats and semi finals for all drivers, and a final for the top scorers.
The cost is £40. Be there for 6:30.
We had a fair response when we asked if anybody out there was interested, but we need a minimum of 25, so bring your mates and granny too. Please let us know if you are coming, with names and numbers. Those who put their names down will get priority, if we do turn out to have too many on the night. Open to GMSC members, friends and relations, members of other clubs all welcome.
Contact Lock Horsburgh or Bill Creevy, or better copy us both if emailing. For anyone who hasn''t been there before, Kartstart is on Merchant Way, Mitchelston Estate, Kirkcaldy, close to the Kirkcaldy East junction on the A92 dual carriageway from Tay Bridge or M90, and is signposted with brown tourist attraction signs, easy to find. Type the postcode KY1 3NJ into Multimap or Google Maps .
Hope to see you Friday.
